There were four happy children
Who lived perfectly then
If only perfect could be forever
They wouldn't trade it, no never
If only they could turn back time
And feel happiness at its prime
If only they were patient
And their memories were not ancient
But vivid, real and alive
Like the playgrounds and sea dives
For it's better to be loved, even for a moment
Even if love leaves you in torment
At least she remembered it was all perfect
Until four actions caused a dear effect
As she watched them burn in flames
She was convinced life was playing games
We were once four happy children
Who lived perfectly then
If only perfect could be forever
We wouldn't trade it, no never
If only we were survivors
But no, we were liars
