A God We Do Not See - 2 - 9 hours ago

  • God is the God of heaven and earth. And even though there are times when it feels like He is far away, the truth is that God is actually very close to us. He lives within us, despite how great and limitless He is. God is good, God is great, and He exists at all times, whether we feel His presence or not.

Sometimes we forget how close He really is. God desires a relationship with us more than we even realize. He is gracious, kind, and compassionate towards everyone. As Psalm 103:8 reminds us, the Lord is merciful and loving.

You can trust Him completely because He truly has your best interest at heart. God is never late. He may not move according to our timing, but he always shows up at the right time. And this isn’t just something people say to feel better, it is a truth we see over and over again throughout the Bible. From Genesis to Revelation, God consistently showed up for people exactly when they needed Him most.

Time itself is in His hands, and that includes your own life. He hasn’t forgotten you, and He will never exclude you. He is your Creator, the One who knew you even before you were formed. Nothing about your life is random, and nothing happens by coincidence with God.

Even though we cannot see Him physically, His hand can be seen in our lives every day, in protection we didn’t notice, in mercy we didn’t deserve, and in guidance we sometimes only recognize later. God was present in your past, He is with you now, and He has already gone ahead of you into your future.

He has been with generations before us, He is with our generation today, and He will remain with generations to come. And yes, God has you in mind personally. He is with you.

I just want to reassure you that God truly exists. Even though we cannot see Him with our physical eyes, His presence surrounds us. I say this as someone who has experienced His mercy, God hears you, and He sees you at all times.

It may not always look like it, but the God we do not see is constantly guiding you, protecting you, watching over you, and directing your steps. As you grow closer to Him, you begin to sense

His presence in your everyday life. Though Scripture tells us that no one can see God fully and live (Exodus 33:20), His presence can remain with you and lead you daily.
