Topic: How Smartphones Have Changed Communication
Hello everyone, my name is Ajose Funmilayo, and today I will be sharing a short micro story about how smartphones have changed the way we communicate.
One day, a student named Tola was sitting in her room thinking about her grandmother who lives very far away. She had not seen her for a long time and she really missed her. In the past, the only way she could talk to her grandmother was by making a phone call, and sometimes the network was not very clear.
But today, things are different because of science and technology. Tola picked up her smartphone and decided to make a video call. Within a few seconds, she could see her grandmother smiling on the screen. They talked, laughed, and shared stories just like they were sitting together in the same place.
At that moment, Tola realized how much smartphones have changed communication. They make it easier for people to stay connected with their loved ones no matter how far apart they are.
However, she also noticed that many people spend too much time on their phones and sometimes forget to communicate with the people around them.
In conclusion, smartphones have made communication faster and easier in our modern world, but it is still important for us to use them wisely.
