I left my lodge and heads straight up to the market to get groundnut oil I will need for my stew, as always, I usually write down the list of items I will be needing but this time around, my account balance reminded me that I will not be needing the list.
So I went, and upon arriving I saw what baffles me, there stands a Young girl sent to buy four cups of maize so they can grind and cook swallow, and for an average Northern Nigerian family, that was to serve like 8 to 10 people, I was touched and the same time angry about the whole thing, may be because there's nothing I could have done about it.
This is just one out of million similar issues faced by Northern Nigerians at this trying moments.
May God intervene
