Falling For The Wrong Person - 4 days ago

Nobody plans to fall for the wrong person. It usually begins with hope, shared conversations, laughter, and the belief that maybe this time will be different.

At first, you overlook the warning signs because your feelings are louder than your instincts. You make excuses for inconsistency. You convince yourself that they'll change, that love will somehow fill the gaps that effort and respect have left empty.

But eventually, reality catches up. You realize that love alone isn't enough to build a healthy relationship. Trust, honesty, communication, and mutual commitment matter just as much.

Walking away is painful, especially when your heart still remembers the good moments. Yet sometimes leaving is the greatest act of self-respect you can choose.

Looking back, I don't regret caring deeply. I regret ignoring the lessons my intuition was trying to teach me. The wrong person didn't just teach me what I didn't want, they helped me discover what I truly deserve.

Not every relationship is meant to last forever. Some arrive simply to prepare you for the one that will.
