‎Korede is a young man who was sent to the East by his mother as a consequence of a mistake he made. While staying there, he met a girl who bumped into him and broke his phone while strolling with her friend. At that point, it struck him how much he hated her — for no actual reason.

‎Munachi, on the other hand, is an autistic girl who is loved by the people around her and the entire community for her humility and her willingness to remain happy no matter what happens. But eventually, Korede tried to cut her happiness short when he tampered with the drawing of her grandmother — a piece she loved so much — by tearing it apart. He did this to prove a point to his friend: that no one could make her sad. But eventually, he did.

‎Things didn't go well for him, because he regretted his actions and tried to make things right and make her happy again. And yes, he did become friends with her, and she was happy again. But there was a challenge: Munachi was already in love because of how close they had become.

‎Unsure of how to handle her feelings, Korede decided to send her gifts instead of visiting in person. But instead, her love for him only grew. One of the gifts he got was a drawing board — and he was the first person she drew on it.

‎Excited to show him, she met him on the road. The moment he saw her, he tried to avoid her and told her to wait so she wouldn’t cross the road. But Munachi, too curious, couldn’t wait — and she met her grave.

‎This deeply touched Korede and changed him. He realized that there is always peace in being happy, so he decided to travel back and correct all his wrongs.
