"I feel scared..."

Those were the 3 words Moyo said over the phone.

I and Moyo have been friends since childhood. I know it's awkward this days to have a friendship between two opposite sex individuals. But Moyo and I have talked it through that nothing can happen between us as pertaining to love relationship.

Over the phone that morning was a voice of Moyo.

"My friend, I'm 20 today and the pressure is already consuming me. I'm scared. I guess it's now that I figure out that adulthood nah scam." He added.

Being scared was normal but having a young man who hasn't experienced life admitting that he was scared was something to ponder on.

I loved his strength because not everyone can be vulnerable admitting to their weakness.

"My dear friend, this feeling comes and goes sometimes, and it will go too. But remember that God never gave you the spirit of fear, so cast it out and claim by faith the spirit of boldness, of sound mind and of love that God has given you." I encouraged him.

Our conversation later ended with prayers and best wishes for our week.

You see, life is in phases, you can be at your lowest phase today and tomorrow at the highest, in between those phases you will need people who will stand by you in all that life will throw at you.

No matter where you are in life, you will need people's support, so build good relationships.
