If there’s one thing life has been teaching me recently, it’s this:

Not every “hi” deserves energy.
Not every vibe deserves effort.
And not every friendship is your assignment.

For a long time, I used to think something was wrong with me.
Because I’m the type of girl that feels deeply.
If I like you, I invest. I check up, I communicate, I ask questions, I put effort.
Not because I’m desperate, but because that’s the way my heart is wired.

But recently, life placed me in a new environment…
School. New faces. New personalities. New energy.
And suddenly, it felt like I was watering plants that were not even planted. 😂

You’re texting someone “Good morning,” they reply “GM.”
You say “How are you doing?” They reply “I’m gud.”
You’re sending full English, they’re replying abbreviation and vibes. 😂

At first, I thought maybe I was the problem.
Maybe I’m too emotional.
Maybe I’m too friendly.
Maybe I’m overthinking.

But no…
The problem is not me. The problem is that I was planting on dry soil.

Not everyone matches your energy.
Not everyone understands your love language.
Not everyone deserves the version of you that gives 100% without thinking twice.

So now?
I’m learning something new.

✨ I’m learning to stop forcing conversations.
✨ I’m learning to stop dragging friendship on my head like human hair.
✨ I’m learning to let people meet me halfway.
✨ I’m learning that I deserve the same energy I give.

Because honestly, life is already enough—school, work, business, responsibilities…
I can’t add “forcing friendship” on top. 😭

And if you’re like me,
if you feel things deeply,
if you care too much,
if you love with plenty energy…

Here’s what you need to remember:

Stop planting on dry soil.
Invest where there is rain.
And never beg for the kind of energy that should come naturally.

Because when you finally meet people who match your vibe?
E go shock you how easy friendship is supposed to be. 💛
