Student Hospitalised After Suffering Injuries from beatings while playing Jesus during Good Friday Procession 

A second-year law student at Kampala International University, Dennis Zziwa, was hospitalised after sustaining injuries while portraying Jesus Christ during the Good Friday Way of the Cross reenactment at Our Lady of Africa Church in Mbuya, Uganda. 

During the intense and physically demanding scenes of the passion play, Dennis was subjected to beatings, which left him injured. He received immediate first aid from Red Cross personnel present at the event. 

Following the initial treatment on-site, he was transferred to Lamone Health Center in Luzira for further medical care and observation.
