I just recalled an interesting conversation with a new acquaintance at an event yesterday. "Nigerians have no Rights anymore only Lefts" he quipped😅. We shared a laugh at his sarcasm & subtle metaphor and it opened up a line for what turned out to be an unforgettable discuss.

You see, the average Nigerian has a body mechanism that keeps him distracted from the really important things and rather addicted to "the commonest silliness of mankind" - a sort of mediocrity based syndrome which David Hundeyin calls F.E.S.S.D. i.e. Fuck, Eat, Shit, Sleep and Die. 

The more i think of it, the more I'm inclined to agree
