Nietzsche once said: “One must be a sea, to receive a polluted stream without becoming impure.”

I kindly disagree.

To be a sea is to sit still and absorb. 

I’d rather be the Stream. 

A stream doesn't need to be vast to stay pure, it just needs to keep moving. 

Pollution can settle in stagnant water. 

But when water flows,

it carries what does not belong away.

Whatever you throw in it as it moves wouldn't matter because it won't stay long enough to get affected by it.

As long as you are flowing, growing, and moving toward your next phase, the dirt people throw at you can't find a place to land.

Movement is the ultimate filter.

Is it better to be big enough to absorb the world's mess (The Sea), 

or fluid enough to outrun it (The Stream)?

Today, I choose movement.
