Mortality - 9 months ago

There is no point to existence, exempting maybe death. From the point where a human is born, a countdown begins to the point of death. All of life is a pointless charade where nothing anyone does really matters. humans delude themselves into believing there is more to life. On the quest for the meaning of life, religion was born. In an attempt to make sense of this vast meaningless expanse that is the universe or this pointless march to graves that is life, humans decided it is better to mindlessly believe in the existence of a supreme cosmic being than to face the darkness of reality. Attempting to run away from the reality of mortality through belief that there is life after death, strongly supporting this belief because no one can counter it with valid facts as death is a finality in a sense. People delude themselves into believing that life has meaning. I guess it's easier than embracing the reality of all existence being a pointless farce. If you look at it logically, in a sense life is wrong and death is right. For life to exist, death is born. Life consumes life to retain the state of living. Death is an inevitable by product of the farce called life. People delude themselves into thinking they're actually special, find one thing that makes you think you stand out. Generalising humans ability to reason and develop complex emotions as a right to life. It is a mere illusion deployed by evolution. The human bodies are aware of their own mortality. They try to attain immortality through undying state of immortality or through procreation. Given the body is unable to attain an actual undying state of immortality, it settles for procreation. Urging all humans to procreate settings the mindset that procreation is good and deluding people with the illusion of satisfaction after successfully creating offspring.

A probable silver lining, why do the cells in the human body strive so hard for immortality? When are they heading to?

What is so important that procreation has been set in stone as a necessity in human existence
