Hey! Its been almost two decades, I wonder why it took me this long to write. Perhaps its because I was angry you left too quick without goodbyes, didn't even know how to cry…

The inevitable never allowed me to get to know you better, each time I remember that, my heart bleeds. Even as I write, I'm in tears and agony.

Everything happens for a reason they say, I just wonder why too early? I had to grow faster than usual even though it wasn't easy, we had to keep pushing through.

Sometimes I feel it will be a little easier if you were here, but you're rather far than near. You leaving made me want to always be around the rest of us by any means possible. I am not going to deny for a fact that I miss you so much, but it hurts to the marrow that I don't even know where you were laid to rest.

Pops, I am happy you kept the faith till you left and I also intend to do even more, I know its hard but each time I remember I have your exact resemblance, I have reassurance that you're always with me…

I just wish I could see you even if its just once, just to see what you look like right now.

Your wonder woman have been so sacrificial and will never stop hustling till there's food in the house, I'd say without any doubt that you got yourself a priceless jewel. I am also on the quest for such woman too Pops.

It hurts me that you're not going to be here to see your grandchildren, but don't worry they're going to be in good hands. I'll make sure I teach them the little I learnt from you... The pestilence, resilience, hard work, love, discipline and the hustle.

Thank you for what and where your voyage out of existence made me, the Bigger Man has always been by my  side.
