The tale of Ronald W. Reagan. Life guard, Broadcaster, Unionist, Actor, Governor and 40th President of the United States of America.
Starring Dennis Quaid and Penelope Ann Miller
Directed by Sean McNamara
Based on “The Crusader” written by Paul Kengor.
They called him the Crusader, the man who championed the fight against Communism and won. Not with missiles or force but with words and totally framed Conservatism in America.
Reagan had charm, wit and charisma plus he devoured books. He was true testament to the saying, ‘Readers are leaders”.
For a moment there, I thought Dennis Quaid was the real Ronald Reagan, the man can act (Facts)
I particularly loved Nancy Reagan (Penlope Ann Miller totally did her portrayal justice). Sometimes what a man needs is a good woman to support him. She was the dutiful and ever supportive wife. Everybody needs a Nancy Reagan in their lives. I love a good story and Reagan was it. 💯
I goggled the man, read a lot of interesting things about his life. He was not without his flaws, The Reagan era has its flaws even though the movie painted him too good. Too Good to be true but his story is inspiring nevertheless. No limits to what a man can achieve if he believes. Reagan was an idealist and he stuck to his ideals till the end. One of the many things that made him exceptional.
