A fictionalised story based on historical persons, the series explores the early life of Leonardo da Vinci during the Renaissance in Italy. He is an eccentric genius who has struggled to deal with his inner demons and unruly imagination,  he gets implicated in the political machinations of the Pazzi and Medici families, as he gets linked to a Mithraic cult and a quest for the book of leaves said to hold god-like knowledge.

I saw this when it first came out, didn't really capture my attention. It found me again. Out of boredom, I decided to give it a second watch. 
3 episodes in and I was hooked.
Season 2 finale has me downloading season 3 at lightspeed🔥😊
And yes, I can think I've just uncovered the mystery of the Mona Lisa

A painter, draughtsman, engineer, scientist, theorist, sculptor,  architect, artista, composer, Battle strategist and more. Da Vinci  was the real jack of all trades and he mastered them all.
