To The Creator Who Is Scared To Press PUBLISH - 5 days ago

This is an open letter to anyone holding back their best work.

We know you.

We know you because we see you hovering.

We see the drafts in your folder that have been sitting there for weeks.

We see the video you recorded three times, only to delete it because the lighting wasn't perfect.

We see the article you wrote, edited and then closed without saving because a voice in your head whispered “Who are you to say this?”

That voice has a name, it’s called Imposter Syndrome andit is the single biggest thief of creativity in the world.

It tells you that you aren't an expert yet, that everyone else has it figured out (they don't).

It tells you that your story is too small or too ordinary to matter.

We are writing this today to tell you one thing, that voice is lying.

You are waiting for permission, waiting for a title to prove that you are allowed to take up space.

Here is your permission slip from Blogshop

We are looking for the unique, unrepeatable perspective that only you have.

No one else has lived your life.

No one else sees the world through your eyes.

No one else can tell your story the way you can.

On Blogshop, you don't need to be perfect, you just need to tell your story however you want it to be told.

Whether it’s a shaky video diary or a blog post written at 2am, your perspective is valid.

There is someone out there right now going through exactly what you are going through, they are waiting for your story to make them feel less alone but they can’t find you if you stay in the Drafts folder.

So, take a deep breath.

Ignore the voice that says wait and trust that your story has value.

Press Publish.

We’re ready to hear you.
With love,

From Blogshop Team
