I believe one of the hardest things I've learnt this year is the fact that my perception of life and a whole other things differ from the person next to me. Even my view of what is differ from how my siblings view things. We may share the same blood, live under the same roof yet we all experience life at a different level.
The point of this is that I have stopped trying to define people's right and wrongs from my mind's eye. I realized that people only understand things from their own views and experiences. Most times we all try to make people fit into our box because of the way we view life. We expect a certain attitude and probably want them to understand things how we do but well, I've come to understand that that is the same thing they want from me. For me to grasp meaning from their own lenses and no one's understanding anyone because we all have different perspective to things.
Personally, I've come to learn to take a step back and see things from a person's point of view and it has helped me to not get mad at a lot of things and has saved me from unnecessary misunderstandings.
Because what appares as a 9 to me is seen as a 6 by another………….
