Fear creeps in, like a thief in the night
Stealing peace, and replacing it with fright
The unknown lurks, like a beast in the shade
Its presence felt, though unseen, it's yet to be made
In the darkness, it grows, a monster untamed
A force that's feared, though its face is unnamed
It whispers doubts, and fuels anxious thoughts
A constant companion, that never leaves my plots
The what-ifs haunt me, like a ghostly refrain
Echoes of possibilities, that bring only pain
The fear of the unknown, a weight that I bear
A burden that's crushing, with no escape to share
But still I search, for a glimmer of light
A beacon to guide me, through the dark of night
A chance to confront, the fears that I've made
To face the unknown, and let my heart be unafraid
For in the unknown, lies a power yet untold
A chance to discover, a strength yet to unfold
And though fear may whisper, its doubts and its fears
I'll face the unknown, and wipe away my tears.
