UNILAG Exam Diaries — Day 2: MCM 105
Hi loves,
So, for ths exam i had today, it was quite demanding on my mind.
Just like the previous one, I came straight from the library to the exam hall. I had spent time reading, so I walked in feeling somewhat confident. At that point, I thought I had a fair idea of what to expect.
But along the line, I heard that the lecturer had said the mode of the exam would be German questions. That information honestly shook me a little because it meant the exam might not be as straightforward as I expected. My mind immediately started racing, trying to remember everything I had read.
Apparently, a PDF had been sent earlier that morning. I quickly skimmed through it just a few minutes before entering the exam hall. And interestingly enough, those were the exact questions that later appeared in the exam.
When I finally got into the hall, I discovered the paper had both objectives and German questions. We were supposed to start by 9 a.m., but there was a delay and the exam eventually began around 10 a.m. So,there we were ,a hall full of tired, anxious students waiting, whispering to each other, flipping through notes, and trying to calm the tension in the room.
When the exam finally started, the atmosphere changed immediately. The quiet concentration, the sound of papers turning, and everyone trying to focus on their own script.
I only wrote the ones I could clearly remember from the PDF I had skimmed through, and hopefully that will be enough. I’m trusting that it will come out well.
Despite everything — the nerves, the delay, and the pressure,I gave it my best for MCM 105, and that’s really all I could do in that moment.
Exam season really teaches you a lot , patience, endurance, and sometimes how to push through even when you’re mentally tired.
Tomorrow is another day, and another paper.
Expect another entry in my Exam Diaries.
By the way, I’m honestly so tired right now that I almost forgot to post this update. I’ll try to do better tomorrow.
Goodnight. 🤍
