A widely reported University of Ibadan admission story involves an aspirant who previously missed the institution’s admission cut-off by just three points. Determined to secure admission, she rewrote JAMB and scored an impressive 317.

However, she later took to social media to ask whether someone claiming they could help her secure a slot at the university was legitimate.

Students who responded to her post warned her to be cautious, with many suspecting that the offer could be an admission scam. They advised her to avoid paying anyone who promised to “help” her gain admission and instead follow the university’s official admission process.
