A few days ago, a picture of a young man from my department was posted on our group chat with a condolence message. As I saw the "RIP" comments, I couldn't help but think: the only time we have to show love and appreciation is now. We should give people their flowers while they're still with us.
We may not be close friends, coming from different backgrounds and having different foundations, but we're all brought together in this classroom, working towards a common goal - to graduate and succeed. While some of us may not end up in fancy offices, we all share a desire to make it in life.
As the saying goes, we'll meet temporary people in our lives, but good memories last forever. Let's cherish these moments we share, laughing and joking together. Don't look down on your coursemates or judge them based on their grades. You never know who might become a valuable connection or inspiration tomorrow. Exams aren't the only measure of knowledge or intelligence.
Let's get to know each other, build genuine relationships, and respect one another. The time to connect and make a positive impact is now.
