Life is a road that hums and bends,
Paved with hellos and quiet ends.
It teaches softly, then with force,
Turns us aside, then back on course.

Life is the breath before a leap,
A promise made the heart must keep.
It breaks us open, makes us whole,
Writes hope in ink upon the soul.

It is the loss we never plan,
The strength we find though barely can.
A thousand falls, a thousand starts,
A map drawn deep inside our hearts.

Life is not meant to be controlled,
Nor fully bought, nor neatly told.
It asks us only this small part:
To feel it all, and stay soft-hearted.
