As she stood before the ancient temple, Rachel felt the weight of her past mistakes bearing down on her. The high priest's words echoed in her mind: “You are forever separated from God's presence.”
But then, she remembered the whispers of a faithful friend: “Jesus' blood cleanses all sins.”
Rachel's eyes wandered to the altar, where the Lamb's blood had once been shed for forgiveness. Yet, she knew the true Lamb had already come – Jesus Christ.
In a moment of desperation, Rachel cried out: “God, I believe in the power of Jesus' blood! Wash me clean!”
As she prayed, visions flooded her mind: the cross, Jesus' wounds, His love-filled eyes. The weight lifted. Peace enveloped her.
The high priest reappeared, stunned: “Rachel, your sins are forgiven! The temple's veil has torn – a sign of God's new covenant!”
Rachel smiled, knowing Jesus' blood had bridged the gap between her and God
