"Mom and dad," she was quiet for a while before she continues, "are on a trip. And they are not coming back anytime soon". All her siblings were quiet and she knew she was a terrible liar. "But they will be back, this I promise you okay?" CARLY and CALEB were almost giving in, but GRACE and JOHN knew the truth. Without a word, JOHN storms out of the house and bangs the dorr behind him. KAIRA sighs, then she walks and squats close to the twins. "Do I ever lie to you?" The twins shake their heads and KAIRA smiles. "So do you think I'll lie to you now?" They shake their heads again. "I promise you, that mom and dad will come back okay?" They twins nod and finally smile at KAIRA. She smiles too, but her heart was heavy. She just lied to them and she felt horrible. CALEB's stomach grumbled and they all burst into a fit of laughter. It happens a lot of times, but it was still funny every time. KAIRA stands up and smiles, "GRACE, I'll heat up the food and you take it out okay?" She walks into the kitchen as she talks and GRACE follows her closely. "Where are you going to?" KAIRA puts the food in the microwave and turns to GRACE, "I'm going to bring back your runaway brother". GRACE nods, "Good choice of words". KAIRA scoffs as the kid walks pass her, then she abruptly stops. 

  KAIRA turns when she noticed her, "What's up?" Her little sister walks back to her and puts on an innocent face. KAIRA raises a brow, GRACE smiles sheepishly. "Could you please get me some sanitary as you come back?" KAIRA scoffs. "What if I say no?" GRACE totally ignored her and made her way to the fridge. "Thanks KAI". KAIRA laughs. Her siblings definitely took after her one way or another.
