Do You Feel Seen?

When eyes stare,

Do they pierce through your soul?

The world buzzes,

A hive alive with commotion.

Amid the frantic dance,

Do you feel lost?

Were you ever truly seen?

To be lost is common,

To be seen, rare.

In a realm where reality stings,

We embrace the sweet scent of lies.

The truth? It stinks—

No need to deny,

No need to confirm.

We all crave the perfume of deception.

Those searching eyes

Look right through,

Hunting for the mask

They believe is you.

What does it mean to be seen?

Has anyone ever truly gazed?

Can anyone really see?

What is true sight?

To see beyond the illusion,

To be laid bare—

Exposed, unmasked.

The real you,

The version without pretense.

Who are you without the mask?

Does reality bring shame?

Would you rather hide,

Never truly seen?

In the silence that follows,

What remains?

A flicker of truth,

A whisper of authenticity,

Waiting to be embraced.
