UNILAG Exam Diaries — Day 4: MCM 101
Hi loves,
Before I even continue, let me take a moment to acknowledge those of you who have been consistently reading and supporting these posts. And those of you that post various things consistently.I truly admire that . Thank you for being here.
Honestly, I thought it would be very easy to keep up with these daily updates, but it has been otherwise. After long exam days, I almost forget to write these posts. But then I remember that I have lovely readers here who look forward to the updates, and that keeps me going.
So, today’s paper was MCM 101.
For this particular course, I read like crazy. Back-to-back reading, answering questions, going over materials again and again. Mostly because of how past seniors described the course — they made it sound extremely difficult. And since it’s a 3-unit course, I really didn’t want to risk getting anything less than a B.
Fast forward to the exam hall.
The exam was scheduled for 11 a.m., but for reasons unknown, we didn’t start until sometime after 1 p.m. By that time, I could already feel most of what I had crammed slowly fading away because I had prepared mainly for German-style questions.
Then the scripts were shared… and guess what?
It turned out to be just 30 very simple objective questions.
At that moment, I didn’t even know whether to laugh, sigh, or just be grateful.
Of course, I still wouldn’t want to celebrate too early until I see the results. But I’m hopeful and trusting God for the best because I truly played my part and gave it my effort.
In the end, everything works out the way it should.
I was actually about to start reading again when I suddenly remembered that I hadn’t written today’s Exam Diary entry yet. So here I am, quickly dropping this update.
Now I’m off to start preparing for tomorrow’s exam.
Let’s see what tomorrow’s paper brings.
See you in the next Exam Diary. 🤍
