I just couldn't see you
I let the lies and promises of others blind my eyes
You stayed with me through think and thin
At the end I slipped through your fingers so easily
I was a nuisance I know
I only stopped by when I needed you
Why did you hold on for so long?
Was I that important to you?
You always looked at me but I was blinded by another
I was lied to yet again
I walked back to you with shame and regret
Yet you welcomed me with a warm embrace
