ACT 1 – Hostel & Flashbacks

The day opens in the quiet stillness of a university hostel. Femi, just rousing from sleep, wears a simple white vest, checkered boxers, and bathroom slippers  a look that reveals his stripped-down, vulnerable state. As he steps into the bathroom, he throws a towel around his neck, carrying the weight of a mind burdened by silence.

In a flashback to gentler times, young Femi is seen at home — free-spirited in his cartoon singlet and combat trousers, a child still untouched by trauma.

Back in the present, Michael lounges in joggers, a black singlet, and a head warmer, exuding calm, while Zino, playful and chill, wears boxers and a polo shirt  both blending the everyday hostel life with the undercurrent of brotherhood and shared pressure.

ACT 2 – Campus Life & Backstory

At the lecture hall, present-day Femi blends in but never fully belongs — dressed in a plain T-shirt, baggy jeans, with a black school bag slung over his shoulder and sneakers worn-in from many steps walked in silence.

A flashback to school days shows his mother, nurturing and warm, dressed in a flowing bubu gown, handing over a lunchbox to young Femi, who wears his school uniform — shirt, shorts, and socks — a bittersweet memory of innocence and care.

Itunu, vibrant and expressive, walks through campus in jeans and a crop top, carrying a tote bag, her simple jewelry catching sunlight  a sharp contrast to the emotional gloom around Femi.

Later, as night creeps in, Zino is once again in his go-to polo, shorts, and head warmer, while Michael sports his favorite Manchester United jersey and combat trousers — the boys navigating life, unaware of what burdens their friend carries.

In another flashback, young Femi faces trauma. He is dressed in shorts and an armless top, eyes wide with fear. His mother, in a bloodstained wrapper and top, paints a haunting image of broken silence.

Back to the present, Femi prepares to bathe, now in boxers, a towel wrapped around his waist — the same body, but a spirit changed.

ACT 2 – Night Scenes

Night deepens. Femi, heading to the chapel, pulls on a hoodie, trousers, and crocs  armor against cold air and colder memories.

A memory flickers  church with Mum. Young Femi in blue jeans, a button-up shirt, and slippers sits quietly beside her. She wears a gown with a tight black hair tie, her face stone-like in prayer. There’s pain behind that faith.

Itunu walks through the night in a green two-piece set, cozy yet stylish — her presence is warmth.
