Simi's words of caution still echoed in my mind, but my heart refused to listen. I was smitten, and the thought of exploring this new connection thrilled me. Maybe, just maybe, this time would be different.

With a deep breath, I decided to take a chance. "Why not?" I thought. "Life is about risks, and love is worth it."

I agreed to Minari's request, my heart racing with excitement and a hint of nervousness. As we spent more time together, our conversations flowed effortlessly, and our laughter intertwined. I keep falling deeper in love with this gentleman.

For the first time since Dave, I felt alive, like I was rediscovering myself. This new connection stirred emotions I thought were long buried.

But, in the back of my mind, Minari's words still lingered: "What if..."
