The African countries are going through a lot of misfortune at the moment and it's very sad the so-called AU( African union) has no solution to solve the rising crisis. The people in power are only concerned about them occupying a seat in the union. 

African countries are dying little by little and we are all quiet about it. From the killing in Republic of Congo by rebel groups to the Sahel region (Burkina Faso, Mali , Nigeria), Christian genocide in Nigeria and the RSF killing in Sudan. All this is happening where there's an established union to protect the interest of African states. 

This shows how African leaders are being controlled by the developed countries and how inefficient the leaders are. It's allegedly said that the UAE are sponsoring the RSF in killing the innocent citizens in Sudan. In a country where there is an established constitution and a leader governing the state. 

Trump has intervened in Christian genocide in Nigeria where there's is a president rulling the country. This made me curious, are we really an independent country? Only a few of the African countries have developed after they gained independence without the help of external interference. 

Many Nigerians are proudly saying they are better off to be colonized again by the developed countries because of the way we are being ruled without empathy for the citizens of the country. This shows how corrupt and rigged our leadership system is. How can a 93 year old be elected into the presidential seat in a county full of vibrant activists that are ready to take the country to a better place. 

Leaders have turned the political seat to a monarchy system where they can be ruling as long as they please, putting the country in danger and not giving the youth a chance to be involved in the political system of the country.

The only thing that can help change this situation is when youths come together to fight against these corrupt leaders to help provide a safe future for us and our incoming generations. If there's no unity to raise an equal voice to eradicate these heartless people then there's no way we can have a better country. 

Youths in Nepal were able to fight against bad government and bring about visible change in the country. If they can do it, we can do it.
