Meghan Markle and Prince Harry kicked off their four-day tour of Colombia today, looking sharp in a navy Veronica Beard vest and trouser set. The Duchess of Sussex sported a bun hairstyle as she met with Colombia’s Vice President Francia Márquez at Márquez’s residence in Bogotá this morning. Márquez warmly greeted Harry and Meghan with coffee, tea, and traditional pan de bono (Colombian cheese bread) at 9 A.M. local time. This visit marked the beginning of the couple’s official four-day trip. Their schedule includes a visit to a school for an Insight Session with students and later, a summit with thought leaders, alongside Márquez, to discuss creating a safer digital environment for everyone.

Márquez shared with the couple this morning her belief that they “share the same ideals and goals when it comes to championing a better, safer digital future and mental health landscape for children and the world.” On Friday, Meghan and Harry will stay in Bogotá, meeting young students and engaging with the country’s Invictus Games team. The details of their weekend schedule have not been disclosed yet. This marks Meghan and Harry’s second official country visit this year. Despite stepping back from their working royal family roles in 2020, they are now conducting state visits through their Archewell Foundation.

During their three-day visit to Nigeria in May, Meghan and Harry's initial day involved meeting students and discussing mental health awareness.
