FULL LIST: Top 10 Best Goalkeepers In Europe’s Clean Sheet Rankings - 4 days ago

A new statistical ranking across Europe’s top five leagues has highlighted the goalkeepers setting the standard for defensive excellence this season, with Arsenal’s David Raya currently leading the clean sheet race.

The analysis spans the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, the Bundesliga and Ligue 1, focusing purely on shutouts, with ties broken by the number of goals conceded. It underlines how a blend of established stars and emerging talents are redefining the art of goalkeeping at the highest level.

Raya tops the list with 18 clean sheets, reflecting Arsenal’s transformation into one of the continent’s most disciplined defensive units. His calm distribution and sharp reflexes have underpinned the club’s title push and placed him at the forefront of the Golden Glove conversation.

Level with him on 18 is Jean Butez of Como, whose performances have been central to the Italian side’s remarkable organisation under Cesc Fàbregas. Butez’s command of his area and reliability in one-on-one situations have turned Como into one of Serie A’s most stubborn defences.

Roma’s Mile Svilar follows with 16 clean sheets, emerging as one of the revelations of the campaign. Trusted in high-pressure fixtures, he has given Roma a solid platform in their pursuit of European football.

Inter’s Yann Sommer and Barcelona’s Joan García each boast 15 clean sheets. Sommer’s experience has been vital in a Scudetto-winning season, while García has handled the pressure of succeeding Marc-André ter Stegen, bringing composure and agility to a reshaped Barcelona back line.

Also on 15 is Manchester City’s Gianluigi Donnarumma, whose debut Premier League season has mixed spectacular saves with the demands of adapting to a new defensive system. Even so, his shot-stopping remains among the elite.

Just behind them, AC Milan’s Mike Maignan, Juventus’ Michele Di Gregorio and Borussia Dortmund’s Gregor Kobel each have 14 clean sheets, underlining Serie A and the Bundesliga’s depth in top-class goalkeepers. Lille’s Berke Özer rounds out the top 10 with 13, capping an eye-catching first full season in Ligue 1.

With matches still to be played, the race for Europe’s clean sheet crown remains finely poised, but for now Raya stands at the summit of an exceptionally competitive field.
