Elon VS Trump - 6 months ago

The two titans of tech and politics have thrown down in a series of public spats, and the drama is already so juicy that it could rival the best reality TV shows. But let’s break it all down, because this tea is boiling over

The trouble started when Musk took to The X app to claim that without him, Donald Trump would have lost the 2020 election. Cue the gasps. According to Musk, he’s the real reason why the GOP saw any kind of victory in the last election. His words? “Without me, Trump would have lost the election, Dems would control the House, and the Republicans would be 51-49 in the Senate.” Bold? Yes. Delusional? Maybe. But Musk made it clear: he’s not one for subtlety.

In typical Musk fashion, he also slammed the GOP for their “ingratitude” and called out their lack of appreciation for his so-called contribution. Seriously, is this man ever not in the middle of a Twitter storm?

Now, enter Donald Trump with his comeback. Trump, never one to back down, immediately hit back on social media. His response? He basically told Musk, “I would’ve won Pennsylvania with or without you.” And if that wasn’t enough, Trump got personal, accusing Musk of having a case of “Trump Derangement Syndrome,” throwing in a little dose of 'how dare you!'

Trump even suggested that Musk knew about the controversial tax and spending bill that’s been the focus of their feud but stayed quiet, presumably until the drama was convenient for him to stoke. No chill.

The internet, of course, erupted. People are living for the drama,

So how did this drama between Trump and Elon start? Let’s get into the details
On Thursday, June 5th the uneasy alliance between President Donald Trump and tech mogul Elon Musk went up in flames — live and unfiltered, complete with Oval Office jabs, Twitter bombs, and a not-so-veiled financial threat that could shake Silicon Valley to its core.
An intense public feud erupted this week between President Donald Trump and his one-time ally, billionaire Elon Musk, turning what was once a political bromance into a high-stakes, high-drama clash of power.

The relationship between the most powerful man in the world and the world’s richest man had already been showing signs of strain. But the real rupture came this week — first in sharp criticisms, then in thinly veiled threats, and finally in all-out war on social media.

Tensions began rising on Tuesday, June 3rd, when Musk blasted Trump’s signature tax and domestic spending plan — dubbed by the president as the “big, beautiful bill” — as a “disgusting abomination,” shocking Republican leadership and blindsiding the White House. Musk, who had until recently played a key role in Trump’s administration, didn’t hold back.
But it was Thursday, June 5th, when the feud went nuclear. Musk began reposting old videos and quotes from Trump and other GOP leaders warning about runaway government spending — using their own words against them in a very public, very personal rebuke. His message was clear: “You’ve become what you once warned against.”

Trump didn’t take the slight lightly. Speaking from the Oval Office during a bilateral meeting with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, he didn’t mince words: “I’m very disappointed because Elon knew the inner workings of this bill. I’ve helped Elon a lot.”
And then came the kicker: the president floated the idea of terminating government contracts with Musk’s businesses — from NASA launches to federal EV subsidies and AI collaborations. It was a warning shot aimed straight at the financial heart of Musk’s empire.

Musk, never one to back down, immediately clapped back online, highlighting past links between Trump and Jeffrey Epstein, and reposting a call for the president’s impeachment. He didn’t just criticize policy , he came for Trump’s character, legacy, and power.

By Thursday evening and into Friday morning, the digital trench warfare was in full swing. Loyalists
