Chapter one 
(The Birthday Plan )

         "The lord is my Shepherd there is nothing i shall want" Faith kept muttering these words as she walked back from Cynthia's house. Faith and Cynthia have been best friends since they were 5, Faith's parents had just moved to their new neighborhood on the 10th of April and Faith's fifth birthday was on the 15th of April. While preparing for their only child's fifth birthday, in the process of inviting their neighbors they found out that baby Cynthia was also turning 5 on the same day the both parents were happy and made the decision to celebrate their birthdays together.
    That went on and finally it was their 18th birthday. Both of them were excited because they finally get their own car, new phone, and they get to be independent. Faith and Cynthia lost track of time while planning how their big day would go, forgetting that Faith was to make dinner at her house to please her Dad. Immediately she remembered, she jumped off the bed and picked her things and ran out of the house forgetting to say goodbye to Cynthia's parents, she was worried about dinner. Though they are neighbors, Faith is always the scared one, while praying Psalms 23,Faith hurriedly walked home.

            Knowing her fault and what she had done wrong,Faith immediately knelt to the ground and apologized to her mum for coming back late and letting her mum prepare dinner alone, her mum smiled proudly at the grown lady she had become letting all the anger she had felt go away. Faith helped in dishing the food after washing her hands and went upstairs to call her Dad down for dinner. When the three sat to eat, Faith decided to pray with so much enthusiasm,her father was so surprised by the sudden excitement that he couldn't help but ask what the Excitement was all about.         
   Faith first asked "Dad what's today's date?" 10th "he answered" Then she asked again "What date would Sunday be?" He calculated with his fingers and that's when he realized his work had made him forget his daughter's 18th birthday he hadn't even made preparation for her new car and her new phone including the special gift he wanted to surprise her with. With all this thought he had within the twinkle of an eye, he smiled and told her not to worry because as long as God lives everything would be fine. Trusting the words of her father,Faith smiled and continued to eat her food, her mum couldn't help but adore the two cuties in front of her she smiled at them because none of them knew her own plan.

Early the next morning Faith woke up very early in the morning, said her morning prayers, did her chores, showered and went down stairs. Mum was already preparing breakfast. " Oh my God! The aroma is so satisfying " Faith said while smiling,"and good morning to you too young lady" her mum responded laughing.. "Sorry mum, how was your night? " was great " her mum said. Soon the food was ready and the table was set. Dad hurriedly came down the stairs looking like he was chased both mum and daughter were scared for a moment, breathing heavily he said" wonderful Wednesday morning to you two, sorry i scared you the aroma was just too much i couldn't bear it so i had to rush down, I'm so famished let's eat. They sat down and said the prayer before meal Faith couldn't wait to start eating since it was mum praying it felt like the prayers were taking forever..... Finally mum was done and everyone began to eat, So what are you both up to today because i can see how you both are eager to go out "her mum asked" uhmn... Taking the girls out to choose the car they want and later on I'll be going to a cosmetic shop,noticed my wife's cosmetics are almost finished. I need to get her a new set. Faith's mum couldn't help but blush, she was so happy she married Johnson,he was so loving and caring indeed she is a lucky woman.

       After eating, Faith helped her mum to clear the table,wash the dishes and went out to call Cynthia. She knocked on the door and Cynthia opened almost immediately. One could tell that she was obviously waiting for that knock. They said bye to Cynthia's parents and entered Mr Johnson's car, the girls were super excited to choose their dream car they just couldn't wait  to get there.Finally they got to their destination, they got out of the car and rushed in before their Dad. Faith's dad parked the car and followed behind them. Mr Paul the car dealer came out of his office to meet his new customers and he was surprised to see Mr Johnson. It's been 10 years since he last saw him,he was so excited to see him again,the fact that he never got the chance to thank him for everything he did for him 10 years ago made him so sad,this obviously was the work of God. 10 years ago when Mr Paul just started his car business he collected a loan of $1 million from the bank to fund his business, he imported the cars from china and the business started to flourish But along the way, he was duped by six guys who came to buy the most expensive cars at that time in his shop, they bought six cars and transferred the money to him, After they left, the money reversed and he lost both his money and cars he tried to track them but it was all in vain. In no time he was going bankrupt the bank were on his neck and the business was no longer moving.Mr Johnson came to buy a car in his shop at that time and he met the man trying to take his life in the shop because he was tired of everything,Mr Johnson couldn't watch him take his own life so he decided to help him, he encouraged him and gave him a cheque of $7000 then left without even buying the car again.Mr Paul was so happy that God had sent him an angel to save him and save his business he was really happy but became sad when he realized he knew nothing about this Man, he promised himself to look
