Gratitude
In slumber's realm, I find my peace
A world where fantasies can't cease
The blind may dream of radiant light
The deaf, of harmonies that take flight
But I, with senses whole and bright
Need not lament or pine for more in sight
For wealth and gold, I do not yearn
Nor weep for silver's absence that would burn
True riches lie in life's simple grace
In every breath, a gift, a sacred space
To walk, to see, to hear, to be
A complete human, wild and free
So let me cherish every waking hour
And find my blessings in life's gentle power
For in the beauty of each new day
I am rich, I am blessed, I am complete in every way.
