Nigeria has petitioned FIFA against DR Congo for fielding nine ineligible players in the FIFA World Cup playoffs, the General Secretary of the Nigeria Football Federation confirmed. If the petition succeeds, Nigeria will qualify for the Intercontinental playoffs.
