Truth is, if you do this Christian life very well and correctly, your life becomes both an inspiration and a judgement.
Your life inspires people as they're drawn to your light. Like minded people who see how you live will want to emulate your footsteps. These ones will thank God on your behalf secretly and/or openly. You become a living proof that that Christian lifestyle that everybody thinks is hard and nobody can achieve is very much possible.
On the other hand, your life brings judgement and provocation to some. Banking on the note that "Nobody is perfect" they fight everyone that's near perfection. It's like these people do all they can to make sure everybody remains imperfect. Since they lack the boldness or strength to uphold Christian values, they fight anyone who dares it.
They will come at you with all they've got, misinterpret what you say and help you say what you're not saying. Sometimes you'll just be on your own minding your own business and stray bullets will just be hitting you anyhow. Anything you say and don't say is subject to unnecessary criticism. Your life exposes their hypocrisy, inconsistency and weaknesses which they're not ready to come out from. The same thing they did to Jesus (John 7:7).
It's not their fault, I guess the world is used to corruption and wrong things have been normalised and celebrated for a long time such that those who do the right things are hated.
Please don't let anybody stress you.
There is war going on, not just against decency but against Christians upholding good moral values. It's a war between good and evil. That's why they will look for any means possible to stain your white. They may visit an old post you made a long time ago when you were lost and haven't met Jesus (it's their common practice) just to rub it on your face that you're doing too much.
People will always talk, don't let their words get to you and make you feel like you're doing too much. Thank God for the men that see your good works and glorify your Father in Heaven. You're not the first person this is happening to and you most certainly won't be the last.
The more your light shines, the more attention you draw to yourself. That's why you have to be very careful too (2Cor 8:21, Eph. 4:27). I pray God grants you strength to continue in righteousness.
Keep living for Jesus 🙏🏾
