Lemme confess something here... 🙈🤭

Ever since I got conscious of myself (right from childhood), I discovered something weird. 🥲

I have a few things that make me standout no matter where I am, even if everyone is doing the same thing. So when I get into a new class or something and it's like, everyone is 'the same', the temptation to study well, answer questions (as a kid), clean the board, anything at all 🥲 to standout and be noticed—be seen—was employed. 

Thankfully I outgrew that childishness, but I also learnt that it's the innate desire of every human to be seen, to be validated, to stand out…

And we subconsciously put in efforts (sometimes recklessly) just to be 'seen'. I mean, check it out... Even in homes, every child wants to be seen by their parents, wants the validation of their peers, wants to be known for something... 

Just anything goes. 

The beautiful thing is; it's completely different with God. 🥹

You don't have to tear your skins and scale mountains to be seen. You don't have to do certain rituals to get His attention. You don't have to 'outdo' others to get validated. 

He sees you. He knows you. He's proud of you. He wants to bring you into His space and offer things to you much more than you ask for. 

He actually sees you. Are you just aware or actually conscious? Are you feeling like a failure because you're not doing enough for Him to 'notice'? 

You don't have to remain in this trap because it NEVER works.
