The Great Jollof Rice Misunderstanding
So I decided to impress my date with my "famous" jollof rice. I mean, how hard can it be? Rice, tomatoes, vibes. Thirty minutes in, my kitchen looked like a Nollywood disaster scene. Smoke. Spices fighting for dominance. One pot bravely sacrificed in the line of duty. Long story short, we ended up ordering pizza—but I plated it with parsley, so technically, I still cooked. Moral of the story? Jollof is not for the faint-hearted. Or YouTube-trained chefs.😂😂
