WORDS
Within the depths of our being, a power resides
Altrance, endless, and infinite, it abides
In the intricate dance of lungs, tongue, and jaw
It arises with each breath, a force to awe
Oh, the words we speak, a potent might
Balm or venom, shining bright
Thin as a blade's edge, sharp as time
Cutting through ages, a mesmerizing rhyme
What words do we choose to utter today?
Venom that destroys, or balm that heals the way?
Fire that burns the heart, or light that guides?
The choice is ours, as the words abide
What message do our words convey?
What motive drives our speech each day?
Is it to harm and destroy, or to save and mend?
The power of words, a double-edged trend
For words are swords, with two edges sharp
Capable of saving or leaving scars
Let us wield them wisely, with heart and mind
For the power of words, a precious find.
