Once a flame that burned so bright and bold
A radiant soul, with a heart of gold
But now, a flicker of what used to be
A shadow of myself, lost and free

The light that shone, has dimmed its glow
A reflection of what I used to know
The fire that fueled, my passions and dreams
Has dwindled down, to mere embers it seems

I wander through life, in a haze of gray
A mere silhouette, of my former way
The colors that danced, in my vibrant hue
Have faded to black, and white, and blue

I'm searching for the spark, that once ignited me
The drive that pushed me, to be all I could be
But like a whisper, it's lost in the air
Leaving me a shadow, of my former flair

In this state of fade, I'm left to roam
A ghost of myself, without a home
Longing to reignite, the flame that once shone bright
To rediscover the light, that made my heart take flight.
