Having a strong memory can be both a blessing and a ¢urse. It's a flex when you can remember every tiny little detail about something you saw/heard/read or an occurrence that happened sometime ago. An unforgettable experience you can say. In fact kids with this kind of memory are celebrated as intelligent.
But on the flip side, it's quite traumatic to remember every hurt you've felt - whether in words or by actions of other people. It sure has a way of affecting the way you think and shapes your next action when dealing with people. Sometimes you've healed from the hurt but forgetting the actions are quite impossible (is that healing tho?).
It raises your skepticism and that's how you start having trust issues (but in your mind you're just being too careful).
Any possible solution to this or it's just practically incurable ?
