HELLO DECEMBER — A LITTLE NOTE FROM MY HEART TO YOURS
It’s December 1st! Can you believe we’re here already? It's the beginning of the month that so many of us look forward to. The lights, the music, the quiet excitement in the air… Christmas is here again! The year ran, walked, stumbled, got back up, and somehow still carried us into this final chapter.
I hope this new month meets you well. I hope you’re smiling, even if it’s just a small smile. And if you’re already preparing for Christmas in your own way, whether it’s decorating, planning, resting, or simply counting down, I hope the season brings warmth to your heart. I know the times have been rough. The economy is stretching everyone. The insecurity around us makes it hard to relax. And many hearts are carrying silent pain. But December still comes with a gentle reminder that hope is not dead. This season carries a softness that makes you believe, even for a moment, that things can get better… and they will.
As we step into this Christmas season, my prayer for you is this: May joy visit your home. May peace fill your heart. May God keep you and your loved ones safe. And for everyone who lost someone this year, I pray God wraps you in comfort and gives you the strength to get through the days ahead. Christmas may feel different, but you are not alone. For families who have someone missing or held in captivity, may this month bring the miracle you’ve been praying for. May they return home safely and may this season bring reunions, testimonies, and healing. And for everyone simply trying to hold on, trying to stay hopeful, trying to survive the days, I see you. God sees you too.
December is here not just to end the year, but to remind us that new beginnings are still possible. Light will return. Joy will rise again. And hope will always find a way. Let’s choose kindness. Let’s breathe a little deeper. Let’s rest when we can. And let’s trust that the same God who brought us this far will carry us into a better tomorrow. So here’s to a December filled with softness, answered prayers, safety, healing, and unexpected blessings. A month of light, warmth, protection, and unexpected joy. Happy New Month, and Merry Christmas in advance. May this season be gentle to your heart.
