Things I'm Leaving Behind Before A New Week Begins - 1wk ago

Before I step into a new week, I want to take a moment to let go.

Not everything that happened this week deserves to follow me into the next one.

Some things need to stay where they happened.

So, here are a few things I'm leaving behind before a new week begins.

I'm leaving behind the need to please everyone.

I've realised that no matter how hard I try, I cannot make everyone happy. Someone will misunderstand me. Someone may not like my choices. Someone may have an opinion about my life.

And that's okay.

I'm choosing to live a life that feels right for me, not one that constantly depends on everyone's approval.

I'm leaving behind overthinking.

I can't change what has already happened by replaying it in my mind a hundred times.

I can't predict every possible outcome.

So, this week, I'm choosing to take things one day at a time and trust myself a little more.

I'm leaving behind unnecessary guilt.

I am allowed to make mistakes.

I am allowed to say no.

I am allowed to rest.

I am allowed to change my mind.

I don't need to punish myself forever for being human.

I'm leaving behind comparisons.

Someone else's success does not mean I'm failing.

Someone else's timeline is not a deadline for my life.

I may not be where I want to be yet, but that doesn't mean I'm not making progress.

My journey is mine.

I'm leaving behind people and situations that constantly drain me.

Not every relationship needs to be held onto forever.

Sometimes, creating distance is not hatred.

Sometimes, it's self-preservation.

I'm learning that protecting my peace is not selfish.

I'm leaving behind the pressure to have everything figured out.

I don't know exactly what the future holds.

And honestly, that's okay.

I'm still learning. I'm still growing. I'm still figuring things out.

I don't need to have all the answers today.

I'm leaving behind the fear of starting again.

If something didn't work out, it doesn't mean my story is over.

I can try again.

I can begin again.

I can take a different path.

Starting over isn't always failure. Sometimes, it's courage.

I'm leaving behind the mistakes of this week.

Whatever I got wrong, I'll learn from it.

Whatever I couldn't accomplish, I'll try again.

Whatever didn't go according to plan, I'll accept.

I refuse to carry every mistake into a new week as if I have to keep paying for it.

The new week deserves a fresh version of me.

So, as Sunday comes to an end, I'm choosing to release what I cannot control.

I'm choosing peace over pressure.

Progress over perfection.

Growth over comparison.

And hope over fear.

I don't know what the new week will bring.

But I'm walking into it with an open heart and the belief that something good can still happen.

Here's to a fresh start.
