Samsung has confirmed that its next Galaxy Unpacked event will take place on February 25 in San Francisco, where the company is expected to unveil the Galaxy S26 lineup and a new wave of AI-driven features.
The invitation language makes clear that artificial intelligence will again be the centerpiece of Samsung’s flagship phones. The company says the new devices are built to simplify everyday interactions and make Galaxy AI feel seamlessly integrated from the moment the phone is in hand, signaling a deeper push into on-device intelligence for messaging, photography and productivity.
One of the most closely watched additions is a new privacy display feature tipped for the Galaxy S26 Ultra. Samsung has teased a system that lets users selectively obscure portions of the screen from people nearby, protecting sensitive content such as notifications, messages or banking details. Rather than relying on bulky privacy screen protectors, the feature is expected to use software and display controls to narrow viewing angles or mask specific UI elements.
Under the hood, Samsung is once again splitting processors by region. Reports indicate that the S26 Ultra will ship with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Elite Gen 5 in the United States and China, while other markets will see Samsung’s Exynos 2600. Snapdragon chips have traditionally led in performance and thermal efficiency, but recent generations of Exynos silicon have narrowed the gap, making the regional divide less consequential for most users.
Battery and charging are also getting a bump. According to information surfaced by specialist outlet SamMobile, the Galaxy S26 is expected to house a 5,100 mAh battery, paired with 60 W wired charging and 25 W wireless charging. That combination would put Samsung closer to rivals that have long offered faster top-up speeds, while still balancing heat and long-term battery health.
Samsung is widely anticipated to use the stage to introduce refreshed Galaxy Buds 4 as well. The new earbuds are rumored to feature a redesigned look that moves further away from the AirPods-like aesthetic of earlier models, alongside improvements in active noise cancellation and integration with Galaxy AI features such as real-time translation.
The Unpacked keynote is scheduled to start at 10 a.m. PT, 1 p.m. ET, 7 p.m. CET and will be streamed live on Samsung’s website and official YouTube channel, setting the tone for the company’s mobile strategy for the year ahead.
