Meet Ayomide David Balogun AKA the prof, a fresh graduate with first class honours from Communication and Media Studies, Mass Communication, at the University of Lagos,Akoka.

I was privileged to speak with Ayomide David Balogun, before his “hooding” ceremony.

He shared that he entered The University of Lagos through Direct Entry. But what I found fascinating was how a person could balance his playful nature, business and academics as well.

He is the CEO of ‘EvoWardrobe ’(a brand that deals in jerseys and sneakers) and master of ceremonies (businesses that he ventured in, to make ends meet).

I learnt from an article I came across that he is the first son of his family, and that he promised his mum and himself to graduate with a First Class Honours……which he did!!!

He was under the mentorship of Professor Nubi, who he says contributed to this great feat of his. He lived with Professor Nubi at some point in his life and got inspiration from him as he was the overall best graduating student during his time at Yaba College of Technology.

In essence, you can be what you want to be, only if you put in determination, discipline and humility. Don't forget the God factor, it pays at the end!!!
