Maybe healing is happening in places you have not thought to look.
Maybe it is in the fact that you no longer chase people who make you question your worth.
Maybe it is in the way you now pause before reacting.
Maybe you finally say, “No,” without spending three days feeling guilty.
Maybe you leave the conversation instead of fighting to be understood.
Maybe you are sleeping a little better.
Maybe you cry instead of pretending you are fine.
Maybe you are beginning to enjoy your own company.
We often expect healing to look dramatic.
A breakthrough.
A big transformation.
A completely new person.
But sometimes healing is incredibly quiet.
It looks like choosing differently.
Responding differently.
Thinking differently.
Treating yourself with a little more kindness than you did yesterday.
So before you say, “I am not healing,” look again.
What are you doing today that the old you could not do?
Maybe your healing has already started. You just have not learned how to recognize it yet.
