Hello Mr Death

I can see you never rest

Trying to distinguish the first from the rest

But nevertheless I would love to have a word with you first

Why are you so dumb?

You leave the old and the numb

To take the young ones that haven't learnt to jump

I wish we could bump

So you see if I would give you a thumbs up

Why are you so stupid?

You leave the wicked and the rigid

And take the wretched and the timid

You leave the frail and the fragile

So you can take the hale and agile

Why are you so cruel?

You take the righteous that lived well

And spare the ones that deserve hell

I wanted you to understand

But discovered you don't even have a stand

On the errands that are in your hands

I wanted to say more that's if you don't mind

But realized that you don't even have your own mind

You are so dumb that sometimes I feel you are blind

You deserve to be thrown into hell with which you were bind

With people of your kind

You are so lawless, you have no norms

You are so shapeless, you take countless forms

You are so worthless unless you are sent

By the maker of heaven and earth

To take one of his pets

That haven't enough time left

And that's what you do best

A loser like you in the devil's nest

But I still want you to know that

I look at your work with reverence

Though I hate your taste and despise your preference

Because I can't still see the essence

Of making our loved ones forever leave our presence

No matter their goodness or their flawlessness

Camouflaging under the pretence

That our God knows best, hence

Has the greater influence

And it's none of our business

Why are you so serious ?

When you could fake a smile and reason with us

At least for the rest of us

That are still healthy and conscious

We employ thee to be less callous and more generous

Not counting our flaws and noting our errors

But keep on awarding us a bonus

And giving us a plus

To promote and enhance our life's course
