We fight. We live. And repeat.

No one else knows the fear of being a woman other than a woman. Women have never been seen as equals since the dawn of time.

We are seen as the weaker, more fragile, less intellectual version of the male race. We are much more than that. We fight. We live. Repeat.

If you're not a woman you won't know the fear of watching what you wear cause you're worried about making it home safe. Carrying a weapon in you bag just to see the next day.

You're not truly safe no matter where you are, it's a fact. Up to tens of thousands of women, were killed in South Africa in the span of 5 years. Why you ask? Fragile Masculinity. Couldn't handle her saying ‘NO’ to you, had your way with her. Killed her.

My heart weeps especially for the women that aren't safe in their own supposed ‘safe spaces’. Their homes. We take a stand. We fight. We live. How long do we have to repeat?.

Sexual Assault cases are brushed aside, “If you didn't want him to do that to you, why did you wear that short skirt?”. A life is cut short, A loved one taken. How could one do such a thing? We fight. We just want to live.
