Amelia woke up to the sound of her alarm ⏰ bell ringing: “Oh gosh, it's 6am already,” she stated, she wore a surprised look, and her voice came out with a tone of disappointment. She had initially slept off on the couch in her living room while waiting for her husband (Nathan), to come back. She quickly went to the kitchen to prepare breakfast for Nathan.

Nathan woke up, freshened up, put on his classic suit and stepped out of his bedroom, to their living room, he walked with steeze, and a lot of composure.

He walked past Amelia, who was already seated up. “Nathan, are you going to work already?” Amelia asked, with a neutral face, her eyes slightly opened. “Yes,” Nathan answered with an angry face. “You can have this,” Amelia stated, and she brought forward a piece of toasted bread in a saucer, and Nathan pushed the bread off her hand, turning towards her fiercely and shooting her a dangerous glare: “I no longer want a maid, I want a wife,” he stated.

Amelia countenance changed immediately, she wore a sad look, tears watering up in her eyes: “Nathan, we’ve been married for three years, and I didn't marry you because of money or any other thing, I had already loved you, years before we got married,” she stated in tears.

Nathan turned his back on her, and in his usual angry mood, he made to leave.

Then the news popped up in their television, “The popular Clara Gomez, the only daughter of senator James Gomez is back to the Philippines to take over the affairs of her father’s company.” The newscaster read. Then Clara was given an opportunity to address the Philippines: “I am Clara Gomez, the only daughter of the popular senator James Gomez, and I'm back to the country to claim what rightfully belongs to me. I came back to reunite with my first love—Nathan,” she stated with a stern look.
